On Saturday, June 10, ULM football players will fish with residents at the War Veterans Home (U.S. 165 North near CenturyTel) in the University Police/ULM Football Fishing Derby. This second fishing expedition will run from 8 - 11 a.m. and give participants a chance to enjoy an excellent time on the Bayou.

The event is expected to include 30-40 veterans with a football player assigned to each two. Every participant will receive a ULM Fishing Derby t-shirt. Door prizes will be awarded along with prizes for catching the most fish. After the derby, there will be free hot dogs provided and cooked by the AMVETS.
