Tresner exhibits artistic work at Ole Miss
University of Louisiana at Monroe Associate Professor of Art Cliff Tresner has the pride of exhibiting his “See What I’m Saying” aluminum, word-based sculpture at his alma mater, the University of Mississippi. His piece, composed of words Tresner created, cut and welded, is on exhibit in front of the University of Mississippi Museum through July 31.
The sculpture is on loan from its permanent owner, the Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, where visitors will normally find it displayed on the front lawn.
Tresner said, "I am proud to be invited to exhibit my work at the University of Mississippi and pleased that the Masur Museum of Art agreed to permit the loan of ‘See What I Am Saying.’”
His work has been featured on the Web pages of both the Southern Arts Federation and Tri-State Sculpture, receiving critical acclaim from his peers.
