Multiple Chautauqua Nexus Events Scheduled

On Thurs., Nov. 10, the Chautauqua Nexus topic will be "Ecumenical Theology, World Peace: Fiction or Reality?" Joe McGahan heads the discussion. The event will be held on the 6th Floor of the ULM Library in the media room at 7:15 p.m. On Fri., Nov. 11 at 5:15 p.m. at the same location, the Nexus speakers will be Ricky Bridges, Bob Noel, Jenny Savage, and Mitchell Young (a ULM student, a Monroe attorney and two ULM faculty members). The topic discussed will be "Prisoners of War, Collateral Damage, Civilian Casualties."

The final two Chautauqua Nexus events of the fall semester will occur next week. On Thurs., Nov. 17, Joe Saunders will speak about "Mound Sites Along the Ouachita Valley; Ohio Ain't Got Nothing On Us." The event will occur at the 6th Floor of the ULM Library at 7:15 p.m. On Fri., Nov. 18 at 5:15 p.m. at the same location, Loren Hayes will lead the Nexus about the "Chilean Experience."
