PEP Grant Teacher Development Workshop to Occur at ULM This Weekend

ULM will act as host to the PEP Grant Teacher Development Workshop this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11 and 12. The workshop hours will be 8 a.m.-3 p.m. each day and will occur in the ULM Activity Center's multipurpose room.

Monroe City school teachers will be there, and ULM student teachers will be trained in National Curriculum. Approximately, 45 students should participate in the workshop. Highlights include "Focused Fitness and the Five for Life Program," "An Intentional Plan for Your Students Learning" and "Quality Lesson Design in Action: Energy In/Energy Out = Body Composition" on Friday. Saturday's program includes "Active Learning with the New Tools of the Trade," "Planning Fitness for Your Students" and a further focus on student fitness and nutrition.
