SUMMARY ONE: Write a summary of an essay found in Lexis
- Nexus ULM Library database:
- Be about half a
page (single-spaced) of coherent prose (it should
read like an independent essay);
- Use lead-ins followed by brief partial
quotes which are integrated into your own sentences;
- After all quoted material use an in-text
citation;
- Be free of grammar and mechanical
errors;
- Use a full citation for a title

- Use Times New Roman 12 pt font.
Turn in a hardcopy of the
summary/paraphrase and a printout of the paraphrased section of the
original article with your reading marks and annotations.
