The Office of Group Benefits allows participants to make changes to insurance coverage outside of open enrollment in the event of a OGB plan-recognized QLE.

Newborns: Application must be made within 30 days following the date of birth. Birth certificate/birth letter must be submitted with application. 

Death: Application must be made within 60 days following date of death. Copy of certified death certificate must be submitted with application.

MarriageApplication must be made within 30 days following the change of status. Marriage certificate and eligibility data for dependents must be submitted with application.
