Student Involvement Scholarships

(to be awarded for Fall 2022-Spring 2023)

 

The ULM Student Involvement Scholarship was established to perpetuate the ULM tradition of well-rounded students seeking to better both themselves and their environment through their achievements.

Criteria for Selection

  1. Recipient(s) must be a full-time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree.
  2. Recipient(s) must have completed at least two full semesters at ULM (excluding summer sessions) with a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  3. Outstanding participation in campus activities – participation in extracurricular activities such as athletics, Student Government, social and religious affairs, publications, speech, music, drama, and other arts. Also, membership in professional, social, and service organizations, appointments to committees, and involvement in related activities is highly valued.
  4. Exemplary character (integrity, loyalty, honor, dignity) is a key consideration.
  5. Selectors may apply for renewal if criteria 1 and 3 continue to be met.

The number of scholarships and the value of each may vary, depending on the availability of funds.  Each individual award will be determined by the Selection Committee.  When selections have been made, notification of the recipients shall be made by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
