About the Miss ULM Pageant

The Miss ULM Pageant is a competitive scholarship program emphasizing talent, public speaking, and academics. It is an official preliminary of the Miss Louisiana Organization, of the Miss America Organization. In order to be eligible to compete, you must meet these requirements:

• Be a single female that has never been married or had children
• Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years of age
• Be an American born citizen
• Be a native Louisiana resident or have completed one semester of school at ULM for out of state students
• Be of good character and possess poise, personality, intelligence, charm and beauty
• Be able to display a trained talent in a 90-second performance.
• Have a minimum 2.5 GPA the previous semester - and –
• cumulative 2.5 GPA for current students - or –
• cumulative 2.5 High School GPA for first-time freshmen
• Be enrolled full-time at ULM

The Miss ULM Pageant has received the Miss Louisiana Organization award for the largest college scholarship in the state for the past 10+ years by awarding over $20,000 in scholarships and prizes available for the winner and other contestants.
